Summer Youth Dance Series:

Pre-Hip Hop ages 4-6

Pre-Hip Hop (Ages 4.5–6)

Get ready to groove! This high-energy class introduces young dancers to the basics of hip hop in a fun, age-appropriate environment. Dancers will build coordination, rhythm, and confidence while learning foundational moves, musicality, and simple choreography—all set to upbeat, kid-friendly music.
With an emphasis on creativity, expression, and having fun, this class is perfect for beginners and little movers who love to dance, bounce, and shine. No experience needed—just bring your personality and your best moves!

Cool Cats Pre-Jazz, ages 4.5-6

Cool Cats Jazz (Ages 4.5–6)

Step into the spotlight, cool cats! This upbeat jazz class introduces young dancers to the basics of jazz in a fun, age-appropriate setting. Dancers will build coordination, rhythm, and confidence while learning foundational jazz steps, musicality, and playful choreography—all set to energetic, kid-friendly music.
With a focus on style, personality, and performance, this class encourages dancers to express themselves, shine bright, and have a blast. Perfect for beginners and little stars who love to move and groove—no experience needed, just bring your sass and your sparkle! ✨

Fairy Princess Pre-Ballet ages 4.5-6

Whimsy, glitter, and magic, oh my!

Dancers ages 4-6 are guided through the world of ballet and creative movement by experienced and ethereal ballet instructors. In this 10-class summer series, students are introduced to ballet terminology, learn how to execute foundational ballet movements, and joyfully move their bodies in a fun but disciplined environment.

Leaps, Tricks & Turns ages 8+

Experienced Beginner Leaps, Tricks & Turns (Ages 8+)
Mondays 5:30-6:45 in Studio B at Studio Pulse Center for Dance, June 8-Aug 10, 2422 East Tudor Rd.

This 75 minute class is designed for passionate dancers with prior dance experience who are ready to build on their foundational technique. Dancers will warm up thoroughly and focus on safely developing strength, control, and coordination while learning introductory leaps, turns, and basic tricks. Emphasis is placed on proper alignment, progressions, and consistency, helping dancers gain confidence as they explore more dynamic movement skills in a supportive, structured environment.
