What To Expect When Visiting Studio Pulse

We appreciate your support as we move forward in this new normal.
By working together, we can keep each other healthy, keep our dancers happy, and keep the studio open.
Your patience and flexibility as guidelines and mandates change are appreciated. This mitigation plan is subject to change.

As of November 2020 mandates:

  • The studio is currently student drop off only for ages 7+, please drop your student off at the front entrance. To keep building capacity down and assist with distancing, only dancers and staff (and one parent or guardian for dancers ages 6 and under, if necessary) are permitted in the studio. Parents needing to make in-person payments are welcome to enter the lobby once class instruction has begun. As a small business, checks are appreciated. We recommend setting up auto pay to avoid late fees. If you are unable to wear a mask inside our doors, please feel free to call us at 677-8573 for inquiries or payments.

  • Every human must use hand sanitizer and have their temperate checked before passing the front desk.

  • With the exception of one guardian for ages 6 and under, waiting and lounge areas are closed to the public. This minimizes bodies in the space and allows for more social distancing among students. Because dressing rooms are closed, lounge ares are currently used for student belongings.

Face Coverings

  • Entrance is not permitted without a properly worn face covering. If you are unable to wear a mask, please call 677-8573 for assistance.

  • All faculty and staff are required to wear face coverings.

  • Students ages 7+ are required to wear face coverings until/unless cardiovascular exercise requires masks to be removed. Children ages 6 and under are not required but are highly encouraged to wear masks during class. Parents in waiting areas or participating in a Moms & Me class must wear face coverings. To be most effective, please ensure that you and your child’s masks have a good fit.

  • For those concerned about physical activity with facial coverings: many athletes train with masks on to increase their performance, and olympic athletes are continuing their high-intensity training with face coverings. Yes, this is an adjustment, but the more we team together now, the sooner we can get back to normal.

  • Face shields are an acceptable option in lieu of face coverings.

  • Dancers will be provided distanced breaks to breathe and drink water. Students must always bring their own water bottle.

All students will be asked at the front desk whether they’ve had a fever or sore throat. We kindly ask that children presenting any signs of illness remain home. We all appreciate team players for the greater good.

  • Any student with COVID-19 symptoms will not be granted entry.

  • Any students displaying symptoms during class will be sent home.

  • A contactless thermometer may be used on any given day for any given class.

Social Distancing

Our facilities and drop-off procedures have been adjusted to optimize physical distancing:

  • Building occupancy has been reduced to only students and necessary staff.

  • Dressing rooms are closed to minimize close contact. Dancers should arrive dressed for class and may store belongings in lounge areas and hallways.

  • Floors and barres are marked to help dancers identify appropriate distancing.

  • Equipment use is now bypassed completely or is very limited. If any props such as yoga mats or kneepads are required, students must provide their own.

  • Signage has been hung throughout the space with hand washing, face covering, and distancing reminders.

Hand Washing/Hand Sanitizer & Wipes

  • Hand washing sinks are available in three locations and equipped with soap and water.

  • Hand sanitizer stations are conveniently located at multiple locations throughout the facility.

  • Industrial grade and commercial disinfecting wipes and sprays are used by staff throughout operations to keep surfaces clean.

  • All barres are disinfected after use. High-touch surfaces are disinfected hourly.

Air Flow

  • Each studio has been equipped with XL space air purifiers. These air purifiers have “HEPA filters which trap germs and a variety of allergens, and a built-in UV-C light which destroys viruses.”

  • Proper ventilation is maintained via multiple HVAC systems across our units.

  • Weather permitting, front and back doors are open to allow for fresh air.

  • Fan towers run in each studio.

In Case of a Hunker Down

  • In the event of another stay-at-home order, all classes will shift to a new schedule of Zoom instruction until approval to resume in-studio classes is announced.

Hours of operation are during class instruction times. FALL HOURS:  Mon-Fri, 3:45-7pm
